This is your big day, but what with everything to arrange the costs can soon mount up and you may even find things are being taken out of your control a little bit. But don't despair, there are plenty of ways in which you can make this event your own, and it needn't cost a fortune either.
Firstly, choose a theme for your wedding. Do you want it to be colourful and lively, for example bright red and gold for a real celebration style? Or maybe you would prefer something elegant with rustic charm. This would be suitable for a country wedding perhaps. Nature makes a wonderfully romantic setting for a reception, so throw a summer garden party for your big day. Or perhaps you just want to theme it with certain colours, like pretty pink or romantic lilac. Whatever you decide, just make sure that a few key elements such as the dresses, the cake, the decorations and your bouquet all tie in together and the wedding will look really co-ordinated.
For cards, get out your blanks, glitter and embellishments and start crafting! Invitations are the first thing that people will associate with your wedding, and will set the tone for the whole event so they need to be as personal and unique as you are.
